Notes for Captain Moses Condit
He was a private in the Revolutionary war, and a Captain of militia in the war of 1812; by early occupation was a farmer, and afterwards kept a store in Orange, N. J., on Main street, near Scotland; he was an elder of the Presbyterian church from 1805 until his death.8
