Old Samuel Morrow served in the SC militia during the Revolutionary War. This is proven by Revolutionary Stub Indents #290 Book L, to Mr. Samuel Morrow Sr 16 Oct 1784 for 40 pounds 2 shillings 10 pence farthing for 281 days of Militia duty 1780. #293 Book L, to Samuel Morrow for 10 pounds 12 shillings for 110 days militia duty. #291 Book L 16 Oct 1784 to Mr. Samuel Morrow Jr 21 pounds 17 sh and penny 1/2 penny 168 days of militia duty 1780-81-83.1947
