Esther Short Condit

CONDIT Esther Short Condit, age 87, a native of Hattiesburg, MS, and a resident of Mobile, AL, for 75 years, went to be with The Lord, on Monday, September 17, 2007, after suffering from Alzheimers for the last six years. She was a member of Springhill Baptist Church and served as a volunteer at Mobile Infirmary for almost 40 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Condit. She is survived by her two sons, Donald Overstreet of Gulf Shores, AL, and Gary Overstreet (Robin) of Spanish Fort, AL, 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the employees of Murray House Assisted Living where she lived the last years of her life. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 19, from 5 to 7 pm. Graveside services will be Thursday, September 20, at 10 am. Both at Mobile Memorial Gardens.
