Notes for Uzal Condict
Used the funds from his father’s estate to purchase land in Kentucky.965
He was a cabinet maker and followed this occupation in Morris County until 1805, when he moved with his wife and six children to Kentucky, where he purchased a farm, which he occupied during the remainder of his life. Uzal and his wife were members of the Presbyterian Church at Morristown, but after their settlement in Kentucky they identified themselves with the Methodist Episcopal Church, of which they were active and useful members.8
On 13 Jun 1808, Uzal Condict, having been appointed by Govenor Christopher Greenup, Govenor of Kentucky, was sworn in as a Justice of the Peace for Ohio County, Kentucky.4511
On the 1820 census there is two females under 10, and one 10-15 who are unknown.4505
On the 1830 census there is one male 15-19 unknown and one male 20-29 who may be Jeduthan, along with one female 5-9, one female 15-19, one female 20-29, and one femal 40-49, all unknown although it could be a daughter or sons family although none fit well.4624
On the 1840 census one female 15-19 in household unknown who she is, maybe a servant/housekeeper.4525
