Well-loved Woman Passes Away
The noble wife and mother lived in the community of Cushing for a half-century and her life ever stood for the noblest and purest things in life
Mrs. Henry Henderson Sr passes away in the Cushing hospital Sunday morning following an extended illness
Mrs. Henderson was born at Washington Iowa Jun 21 1864 and lived on the farm near Cushing for over 50 years
She is survived by her husband Henry, 3 daughters Mrs. Roy Beers of Correctionville, Mrs. Bert Elter of Ida Grove, and Mrs. Frank Peffer of Battle Cree 4 sons, Frank of Sioux City, George of Battle Creek, Henry Jr of Cushing and Howard of Correctionville, 23 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren
Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian Church in Battle Creek Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 PM with Rev Rumbaugh officiating
Interment was made in the Battle Creek cemetery under the direction of the Wilson Hull Service
Pallbearers were Charles Bruene, Theo Koplin, Otto Kukchel, John Juehl, William Morrice and William Baumann. The arrangements of the cars was made by E J Hofmeister, and Curtis Van Houten. Will Patterson drove the flower car and Mrs. Theo Kopplin and Mrs. William Morris were in charge of the flowers.3191
