1964David Morrow is shown on a land patent deed with headright Richard Whitehurst on 22 Nov 1651, indicating his immigration from Norfolk, England to Lower Norfolk Co, Virginia. ("Morrow and Related Families" by Dr. J.T. Morrow pg 17) (Virginia Land Patents Book 2, 1643-1651, Reel 2, p.350) On the deed, his name was spelled "David Murrowes". On the same date, David Murray (sic) was the headright himself of 300 acres for the transportation of 6 persons. The difference in spelling was common; the wills of both David and his son David have multiple spellings within the same document.
